Sometimes, certain viruses can make it impossible to start the computer in a virus-free environment. In this case the computer has to be started from a virus-free rescue CD and a scan has to be carried out during startup.
You can use the CD as a rescue disk or create a rescue CD from the Services menu in .
Note:
It is important that the rescue disk is created on a virus-free computer.
Otherwise, the rescue disk would be useless as it would not allow the
computer to be started up in a virus-free environment.
